Having been chatting to Jim and Debs about chocolate bars I've decided to start a thread to see if anyone can tell me where I can buy a Chunky Kit Kat in the Peanut flavour, they seem to have been retired in the shops around here

Licorice root?
That brings back bad memories. Like pomigranates, my mum used to give me a pomigranate and a pin. Took me hours to eat.

For anyone who is OK with ordering online you could try - www.aquarterof.co.uk they have a hugh selection of sweets mostlly those that are no longer available, some I forgot existed. Unfortunatley they dont send them to Canada or the U.S. but I do send favourites to my mother as a treat occasionally. Mmmm.. Mouthwatering now how about some cherry lips or flying saucers and some of those black cough toffees (cant remember the name) I too had the pomegranites with the safelty pin - now if I only had that kind of patience today. Lynn P.s. there are hundreds of online old fashioned sweet shops now but I have not checked any out.

If I see any on my travels I'll pick them up. My most memorable treat when I was younger was some kali and a liquorish from the shop round the corner, bag of that and I was silent for a good hour. I also did the pomegranate thing, I recently saw Jamie Oliver or someone just bash the back with a spoon and they fell out, why didn't my Grandma teach me that one?! Might have to get the kids one, not sure I trust them with pins though. :/
