Hi I will start to post ,may take a while .I had real problems as the initials are nearly all unreadable. Some of the names are also spelled wrong .I have tried my best to link the names with the street or the area.Also the regiment in small letters on the right restricted me although they may not all have been correct.

Hazell ? Thomas Hazell Private Kings Own Royal Lanc Reg Already serving in India he was recalled in Aug 1914 and sent to France where he served in the retreat from Mons ,he fought in the Battle of Ypres ,Neuve Chapelle, St Eloi .He was reported missing at Ypres in May 1915 and was presumed to have been killed. He was entitled to the Mons Star ,General Service and Victory medal 27 Cawdor St

He was engaged in fighting in the battles of Neuve Chapelle , St Eloi, Hill 60 ,Ypres ,Festubert and Loos.In Jan 1916 he was sent to Mesopotamia with the Kut relief force and took part in engagements at Um-el-Hannah, Sanna-I-Yat, Amara,Baghdad and Mosul.
