Edward was born in Salford on the 9th April 1886 (the 1901 states 1888 as the year of his birth). He attested with the Canadian Army on the 23rd of September 1914 Edward was reported as missing on the 22/04/1915 and at a later date this was presumed to be the date of his death. The following men require further research to confirm they are the correct men. John Bryson lived on Flax St which shows on some searches as Broughton, others as Salford. I think that Charles and Henry Bryson are brothers, the sons of John and Alice Bryson who are living at 99 Hilton St, Broughton in 1911.
