I started to look at my family history with my daughter Vikki, my Dad, Bill never spoke of his father William George Earle, and after reading William George's diary from WW1 we came to understand why....he died of his wounds in 1916 aged 39 so my Dad would have only been a toddler..we have received lots of help in adding to our family history and now realise how important the memorials are and hopefully find more information on WG.

Thank you Bomber,
My daughter and I had a lovely morning at Weaste in April last year and found William George's War Grave under the beautiful blossom trees and then we found the family headstone so it was quite an emotional day for us....we intend to visit again very soon, thank you for the offer.
