I was editing an old postcare of Grosvenor Square, Lower Broughton, and i noticed what looks like a memorial. What does SWARM think? This is the postcardAnd a close up of the memorial!!!

Thanks for posing this. I am sure it is a memorial, but is it a war memorial? It looks old in the picture so could be 18??
Does the postcard give a date?

I don't know the year as it was a copy of a postcard.
Ascension Church is just a stones throw away from that spot, maybe they might have some record of it?

war memorials dont usually carry any religious symbols,because the soldiers named on them would be from different religions
