If anyone knows where this memorial ended up after the demolition of Buile Hill High School we would be very pleased to hear from you. Attachments:

It looks as though this plaque is lost. The Old Salfordians who rescued the WW1 memorial plaque (now re-erected in the Peel Building of Salford University) think the plaque in your photo had already been removed from the Memorial Room when they were allowed to recover certain other items from the Room. If it still existed elsewhere in the building, it wasn't brought to their attention.
As I understand it, the WW1 plaque had been taken off the wall in the Memorial Room some months or years before and stored under the stage, and Buile Hill High were happy for the Old Sals to take it away. If the school had no wish to retain that plaque with 74 names on it, it's not likely they would have made any attempt to preserve a plaque with no names on it.
(There was also an 18th century fireplace in that Room, and one wonders what happened to that as well.)

Oldsalfordian,
Thanks for this... I was thinking along the same lines. I know a memorial with no names is not as important as one with names but it is still a memorial that shows our appreciation of the sacrifices that these men made for us.
