I'll have a look at it when it comes. Shouldn't be too much to transcribe out I would have thought. May even be able to photograph it and give you images of the individual pages.

Garry, I am reliably informed that the fiche and CD have been delivered today! I'll check it out when I get home and have a look to see how much there is to it. I can probably do some transcribing / copying at work.

About 200 pages to the Monumental Inscriptions for St. Catherine's. They are split over four fiche. Also included is a handy little grave-yard plan.
Plus the two CD-Roms for the Manchester City Battalions. I feel like a kids on Christmas morning looking through these!! ;D

But, is the war memorial on them?
On the fiche that is.

No, there's no mention of the war memorial on the fiche. And it isn't marked on the graveyard plan, either.

The fishe must have been produced over 30 years ago prior to the memorial being placed outside after the church was demolished in the 1970s.
Back to the drawing board.

All the dates on the fiche read July 1990, but the original was probably a book compiled much earlier.

The names on the G&W roll of honour. I would be grateful, if anyone has a spare ten minutes, if they could check for omissions/spelling mistakes.
