Tony, I have sent you a Message.#
Peeps, if you have any poems etc that are copyright to you, PLEASE do not post them on the Forums, this is an open Forum, and your items will end up on the World Wide Web.
If you don't mind people knowing, then keep posting, but please remember SWARM cannot accept responsibilty if they do end up on any other website.
I myself posted a poem, giving the website permission to put it on, unfortunatley, it has ended up on other sites, with my copyright removed, and my name missing as well, I have had to report those sites and have add to ask the original website to remove it.
SO do make sure before posting that you are sure this is what you want.
Debbie

There is one way to make copying of poems a bit difficult and off putting to people who want to copy and paste them.
It’s not fool proof to the determined ones, but can put many off.
Instead of copy and pasting your poem onto a forum or webpage yourself, use a photo editing program, and create a new file, copy and paste the poem to the new file with the text tool, and save it as a Jpeg. And then post the Jpeg instead.
You can even fancy it up a bit if you like with background colour, frame, even blend the text, and more importantly you can also add your Copyright to the Jpeg.
If you add your copyright as a semi transparent watermark across the poems text, then it is almost impossible to remove without going to great lengths.
The ONLY other option left to anyone is to type the poem themselves word for word, which would put many people off, leaving them to use the Jpeg with your copyright on it instead, which is all you ask in the first place, so that you are credited for YOUR work.
