I've heard from several friends today about them being contacted and harrassed by people (customers of their businesses) WHINGEING about delayed deliveries. For the benefit of these THICK customers I would just like to point out that it is WINTER. It is currently VERY COLD. SNOW is blanketing large portions of the country, making roads in some areas impossible to travel. In some areas ROADS are CLOSED for safety. This weather has disrupted train services, airports, commuters, mail and shop deliveries, etc. in many parts of the country. In some areas, basic supplies such as bread and milk have run out or are running out because deliveries have been unable to get through with supplies. To these THICK WHINGERS I say only this... GET A GRIP and STOP WHINGEING at people who are DOING THEIR BEST despite the INCLEMENT WEATHER conditions. Rant over, thank you for your attention. This was a public service announcement brought to you straight from the eight .303 calibre machine guns of Hawker Hurricane!

By the way - please take the time to keep an eye out for each other during these wintry conditions, especially if things are especially bad where you are. Keep warm, keep safe, and look out for your neighbours.

Think Spitfire might not have realised at time of posting that it had turned midnight!!! If only you knew the work that went into getting the photo off her phone and onto here.... ;D
Anyway, I think the photo could have actually been Friday morning, with Spitfire thinking it was still Saturday when we finally got it so she could post the pic! ;D
It's all fun up here!

I don't know about anywhere else, but it's been pretty cold in Bolton of late. Just today, I saw three penquins hitching a ride on a polar bear's back, and the penguins were telling the bear to hurry up and find somewhere warmer to go, as they were freezing!!! ;D

It's clearing pretty much here. Still a few slippery icy patches on some pavements, but if you watch where you're walking it's ok. I'll be back on the motorbike tomorrow by the looks of it. Could have used it all this week to be honest, but I bought a week ticket for the bus last Thursday, and being a tightwad I just had to get my full money's worth out of it!!
