There are loads of photos at Salford for the War/s, me and Jim are hoping to scan as many as we can, as we feel they are as important as the Memorials, and you get an insight into what was happening in Salford. There are quite a few of the men, including group pics of the Lancashire Fusiliers, or single or double photos, so keep watching this space, as one of them might be yours Attachments:

I'm sure the first one (with Hope Pharmacy on it) is the row of shops next to Broomhouse lane school. The school was called Hope school, right next door to the gates of Hope hospital and then Hope Church further up. The shops are still there (albeit different ones)......the first 2 next to the school was a chip shop and then 'Fords' with rounded doorsteps, which are still there. I think the other is still a chippie...my mam worked in there in the 50s.
