I was thinking-----------what about old commercial buildings?
The Crown cinema in Eccles.......Bright Hall in Bright Street in Eccles.
I used to go there on a Tuesday in the 50s (A sort of Sunday school on a Tuesday), there were lots of things on the walls.
Has Hope Hospital got one?
Anything on Eccles railway station?....or any of the remains of other local stations for that matter?
Only a thought.

I remember seeing some pictures of the inside of the crown cinema but don't recall a memorial.

I know that Hope has some bed plaques to remember some of the nurses and a memorial window. We have plans to get these soon.
I had not thought of Eccles Railway station, I will check it out.
