Just seen and heard the news on the BBC and Manchester Evening News websites concerning the gas explosion which occurred in Irlam this morning. Four houses reported to be destroyed with at least seven injured, one seriously. I am sure I speak for all of us when I say that our thought and prayers are with those affected by this incident, both now and in the coming days.
Firefighters and specialist rescue units remain at the scene to search for any others who may be trapped in the rubble. Let's pray for a full recovery for all those injured.

I've been watching this since 7.30am this morning and I'm trying to keep up to date with progress. The fire service now say they believe that "everyone is out" 11 people are now reported as injured.
My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the explosion and also with the emergency services who are dealing with all the aspects of this incident.

After speaking to Andy,(who is fine) I now realise how many people I know in Irlam, and am quite worried, my brother-in-Law is there as an Ambulance Man, so I might get more info later.
My thoughts are with everyone who has been affected by this, God Bless you all.
