There are a few book at SLHL that have roll of honours listed in the back. I am sure one of uscan take a look next time we are there.

Hi Gary, That would be great!!. Most of my relatives from Ordsall seem to have worked there. A bit off topic now , but do you know if there is going to be a remembrance service at the Ordsall British Legion ? if so what time would it be?? Regards, Mike

Mike,
They walk from the Legion to the cenotaph and do the remembrance service there. I normally go and spend my few minutes alone at the Regent Square Memorial.

There is plenty of time and you can pay your respects anytime you wish. It doesn't need to be on a particular day at a particular time.

Thats very true Gary!, and yes I think it was Worrels, not too sure, all the family were described as working in velvet dying jobs. All lived in Rudman Street , Sunnyside street, Isaac Street area.
