I’m looking for some information regarding my great uncle, Pte George Eric Wardleworth 13096303 of the Pioneer Corps, killed 28-03-1946. He’s mentioned on here and I wondered if there’s anyone who could help please?

Thank Ben. There’s some suggestion that the circumstances of his and some of his fellow soldiers was the subject of a local book. I’m looking to see if it’s true. He was my grandmothers brother and she wouldn’t ever talk about it. She’s passed and there’s nobody for me to ask. I’m looking for some direction really as to how I could find out if there’s any truth in it. His date and place of death doesn’t seem to fit with what I was told. I would be grateful for any help. Thank you
