Hi everyone, Please could any kind soul tell me if there are any local newspaper reports regarding 27306 L/Cpl John Robert Berry 15th Lancashire Fusiliers who died of wounds on the 17/9/1917,many thanks ,regards,Paul.

Coldstreamer, Welcome to the forum. An article appeared in the Eccles Journal on the 5th October 1917. Unfortunately the image I have of that page is extremely faded and the typed word is barley legible, but I have posted a copy hereunder. I will try and get a better image when I next visit the SLH.   |
