J Coucill, R.G.A. Gunner John (Jack) COUCILL, 51315, 34th T.M. Bty., Royal Garrison Artillery, died aged 39 on 7th November 1915. Interred in grave III C 11 at Hagle Dump Cemetery. He enlisted in November 1914. Son of Thomas and Margaret Coucill of Worsley Road, Little Hulton, and husband of Eliza Alice Grundy (formerly Coucill) of Mount Pleasant, Cleggs Lane, Little Hulton. Remembered with honour (A relation of this man was in work on Thursday, and was referred to me by a colleague for information about the war memorial at St. Paul's Peel, which my colleague knew I've been involved in working on. His service record is one of the more complete ones - 25 pages though some a duplicated - on Ancestry.)

I went to St Paul, Peel today, to lay flowers at my family grave. I managed to get a couple of war grave photos. Unfortunately I ddin't have my camera and had to reply on my mobile phone....I will post the photos later this evening and I have made mental note of where the other graves are and I will go and photograph them next week
