Brill pics Emma. I've always thought that church one of the area's nicest, though I know it could so with some conservation / repairs in a number of areas, including the war memorial.

Yes the church has a few conservation needs, I have raised a couple with the appropriate people and will now take up the matter of the memorial. I will post updates

As it's virtually 'round the corner' from me, and on one of my possible routes between home and work, please do let me know if I can be of assistance with this one. I also know one of the gentlemen who is transcribing the church's parish registers for the Lancashire On-Line Parish Clerks, so I shall ask him about any further information he can glean about the memorial.

Not yet. Only got the photos of the panels on Tuesday night and been tied up with work and preparations for the open day. I'm hoping to put together a booklet covering the memorial, which will be done for SWARM, but copies will also be deposited at both Bolton History Centre and Salford Local History Library. You'll have to give me your name so I can appropriately credit you in the finished article.
