Hi
I'm stuggling to find service details for those that survived WWI. Roe Green remembers 47 on their Roll. I'm using Ancestry and Forces War Records but there are too many results and not enough details to be sure. Is there somewhere else to look ?

Lester,
We do not know of any Absent Voters List for this area, so I would try and use Ancestry as best you can. I can see at least 6 service records. The term "James Eden" and "Roe Green" only returns 1 hit in the census results, I know that this will not identify which regiment he served with but the best we can do is point out who we believe he could be. Some of the names may be unique enough to only return one medal index card meaning that there are good odds that this is your man. If you find it too frustrating just concentrate on those who died.
