Hi Folks, Just found this interesting site and don't know if members already know of it:- www.forces-war-records.co.ukThey have over 6 million Services records(Army, Navy, RAF) including historical; Boer War etc. Its an ongoing project so not all records have been been transcribed. I did'nt find my fathers' WW2 records, but some of you may find ancestors. To see the actual record there is payment on a 1 monthly, three monthly or yearly Subscription basis. 1 monthly is £6 or so and you can see as many records as you wish in that time. I mention this as I tried getting my fathers' as next of kin and after three appeals they still wanted £30. If you are lucky you may find someone for £6 instead of £30. Steve

Only one fault with that site, many of the records & information can be found free on the internet. I suspect some of the information is take from free forums & websites like this and then charge for it?
