Plaque of the Last Supper given to the church by a member of the congregation while on leave during the Second World War. Jack Young lived on Charles St and worked for J Gerrard & Sons in Swinton. He served with the Merchant Navy on the S.S. Coimbra which was torpedoed off the Atlantic coast of the United States on the 14th January 1942: he was aged 22.
