But at 11 O'Clock on 11.11 there were 2 people at the site (the other was a council worker sweeping up the leaves!)
The memorial itself is well maintained and shows signs of recent repair. Being adjcent to a busy main road there is little sign of vandalism. If the memorial is moved, I just hope it does not go to a site with lesser visibility.

it was repaired a few years ago,the stone was perishing,the local scrotes turned up on the day the started the repairs and told the workmen that they had to pay them to work on their patch,so they had to have a police presence during the repair work.
