From memory I think that we have discussed the Gemmells on the Salford Council forum a while back? Have you been able to check the Salford Reporter for any articles printed at the time of their deaths? If not, I will take a look when I next visit the library. John South also rings a bell. I shall get back to you on that one.
Hi..Yes that was some time ago and i thank everyone for the help they gave me..... All i have on the South's and Holroyd's are...........Any further info on the family would be great.......Regards to all.
Where did you get the information for John South from? From all the information I can see he is shown as being born and living in Salford.

Hi Garry....If i remember most of the info on my Salford/Warrington family was found by the Salford Forum....You also played a big part in that and i thank you for it.....As you may remember i was about three weeks old in 1943 when i was taken to Scotland due to the fortunes of the Second World War.
That would be great Garry...I will try and post some photo's later of my grandmother Annie South....The Fusiliers Museum did a fantastic peace of research for me and through that and the Forum i was able to find my Grandfathers brothers and some of there family.......
