wrote this today thinking about the unknown Anzac soldier who was moved back home to become the NEW ZEALAND unknown soldier, from Caterpillar valley cemetery in Longueval a few years ago and the new unknown found only last year and also buried in caterpillar valley THE POPPY, THE POPPY I AM WEARING, I WEAR IT WITH PRIDE EVERY POPPY TELLS A STORY OF SOLDIER'S WHO HAVE DIED FOR ME IT WAS MY GREAT-GRANDDAD WHO'S BURIED ON THE SOMME HE'S LAYING THERE WITH HIS PALS KNOWING THE JOB GOT DONE THOUSANDS NEVER MADE IT HOME THOUSANDS WITH NO KNOWN GRAVE AND IF YOU GO TO VISIT THEM WITH FAMILY OR JUST SOME FRIENDS , STAND FOR A MOMENT AT A UNKNOWN GRAVE, 25/APRIL/2013 Attachments:
