Hello can any one help me, I had an uncle called Richard Perry he was born in Salford. He was in the Boar war but I cannot find any mention of him at all on any sites. He went into the Chelsea pensioners home and that is where he died. Any info would be most helpful. Hilary.

Welcome to the forum Hilary.
Steve has kindly given a few options above.
Do you have any other information that may help in searching? A date of birth, parents, marriage, etc? Find My Past would be the best place to start your search, they have records from the Boer War and for Chelsea pensioners (unfortunately I do not have a membership to FMP). Hopefully someone with membership will reply and give some more options.
