St John's, Weaste was on the corner of Langworthy Road and Liverpool Street.  Stained glass window.  The names were inscribed on a bronze tablet that hung under the window.  |

Thomas Cunningham of A Company was born in Glasgow and lived with his parents at 30 Southern St Seedley. He worked at Winterbottom Book Clothing Company Weaste and attended St Lukes Church , where he had been a member of the Boys Brigade and the 1st Weaste Boy Scouts. He joined the battalion as a bugler when he was 14. At the same address were George Carlin Cunningham SLR (KIA 11/4/18) and Air Mechanic H Cunningham RAF.
