St Lukes right panel S Yates Stanley born Leigh resident Seedley Lancashire Fusiliers 1/7th battalion 1785 died 7/8/15 CWG Panel 58 to 72 or 218 to 219 Helles Memorial Stanley Yates was born in Leigh and lived at 29 Stowell St Weaste. From Hell Let Loose. Wendy There seems to be some confusion with this man. It is either Stanley Yates as per Wendy's post or Samuel Yates as per the report below. Both soldiers died on the same day and both are reported to live at the same address. This seems a little odd. From CWGC: SAMUEL YATES Rank:Private Service No:3147 Date of Death:07/08/1915 Regiment/Service:Lancashire Fusiliers 1st/8th Bn. Panel Reference: Panel 58 to 72 or 218 to 219.
