Stowell had a bronze plaque with an estimated 53 names listed of the men who gave their lives during the First World War. The plaque came in two halves, one was destroyed during the demolition of the church. The other half was saved by the vicar and sent to be cared for at St Ignatius Church. St Ignatius closed in 2005 and the plaque has now been listed as missing. The vicars of both churches were reported to have a full list of the names.
Can we find the names of the last vicars of these churches? If so can we find some contact details?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Still looking for a full list of names for this memorial. In the meantime we have been sent the Roll of Honour for the Stowell Sunday School. I have a pdf version of this on which the names are easier to read if you would like a copy give me a shout.
