a charity night was held at the LAYTON INSTITUTE BLACKPOOL SUNDAY night, for THE NOT FORGOTTEN well over £1000 was raised, i donated two 1914-15 stars in the auction they went for £200 . two tickets for the MAN UTE/BLACKPOOL game with pickup at the door went for over £400. a first class show and a full house over 300 people attending, i spoke to a young soldier who lost both his legs in Afghanistan, i thanked him and his pals ,he said i was only doing my job. tonyrod

God bless that young soldier... Apparently a lot of our soldiers take that attitude." I was only doing my job" It's so sad...
