Hello. I'm Mike van Venrooij and I'm an 16 year old airwar researcher from Holland. My interest is ww2 crashes in Holland and I do research to the war since I was five. Later on when I was thirdteen I started researching plane crashes. since then I ve researched a lot of plane crashes ,and when I research plane crashes I always try to find the famalies of the crewmember(s) to tell them what happened with their loved ones and to swap information about their relative such as what he did before the war and solmetimes some pictures. With research in archives and ground research on the crashsites I try to find out what happened during their fatal flights. my quests to the family and the cause of the crashes is always very interesting , it is great to be able to tell their families what happened with their relative. I'm in search for a family of a Spitfire pilot that came from Salford and maybe I can find them with the help of this forum.
Regards Mike

Hello & a very warm welcome to you Mike I am truly impress with you and the great research your are doing from such an early age. I wish i'd had shown some interest when i was your age, i was to busy kicking a ball around and making a general nuisance of myself. I wish i'd have even took the time to ask what little family i had about our families in the two great wars. If you post who you are research from world war two from the Salford area, someone maybe able to help you? Post what you know of them and hopefully someone will find you something? Ben

Mike,
Welcome to the forums. I too am extremely impressed that a young man of your age is carrying out such valuable research.
Keep up the good work.
