If it is of any interest: The "hospital " was Wimereux, France. Copied from Wikipedia: In the First World War, a Red Cross hospital was set up and run here by Lady Hadfield at her own expense for the treatment of wounded and sick servicemen. In 1916, Solomon J Solomon set up a Royal Engineers establishment, the Special Works Park, in a disused feldspar factory. Here were developed new camouflage techniques and equipment for the British Army.

Hi
I have been unable to get online for a while but thank you for the name of the hospital in France where my Grandfather was taken, all information adds to my family history and also for the Roll of Honour. I do intened to visit the Salford History Museum to learn about the area where my Grandparents lived and we know where William George was employed.
Thank you
