i visited here recently. Happy to report that someone else has taken up the baton of maintenance of the 3 CWGC headstones. They have improved the access upto the headstones. Dont know if its done by anyone on here. The rest of the area is still bad. There may well be other war casualties buried there

Hello all. At last, a little bit of good news. Someone or a few people have been to this notorious site. A section of the cemetery has been cleared. Well done to the unknown. Second point is, I found a service man laid to rest in a private family plot. Johnson Robert kilner. Royal navy. I don't know if this man is remembered on any roll of honour memorials. Next time I visit I will place a cross

visited today to place a cross on Johnsons grave but couldnt find it. Totally overgrown again. Half of one plot has been well cleared, showing very few headstones. Looks suspiciously bare. Im sure there was more headstones in the section.
