Hi Mack. We've had a change of plans for Saturday, and won't be able to get to Ellenbrook - but will try to get there as soon as possible, and will get the photos done and up on this thread ASAP.

I have been to Ellenbrook Chapel (St. Mary the Virgin) this afternoon. There is very little graveyard to the church. The war memorial to the rear of the church is in good condition, and I will add photographs shortly. The two graves referred to above are, I believe, in the churchyard of the Parish church of St. Mary the Virgin, Eccles (Eccles Parish Church), rather than Ellenbrook. Certainly I could find no trace of them at Ellenbrook Chapel.
Whilst there I spoke with a gentleman who was helping tend the grounds of the church, and he confirmed that there are no war memorials inside the building, just the war memorial at the rear covering both 1914-1918 and 1939-1945. He told me that there used to be a roll of honour on a board within the church, which listed all those who had served, but this is missing, having disappeared some years ago during decorating work.
