Just thought I'd post my song called The Ballad of Billy Unsworth to see how it stood as a poem. Attachments:

I love it Graham. Great as a poem, and I have a feeling it'll make a wonderful song too. Well done, and thanks for sharing with us.

Thank you for the kind replies. I am practising hard to get the thing right. I am going into Salford City Radio soon to get it recorded live with some friends who are fabulous musicians. This will act as a demo and with the interview may start some interest. I have spoken to Ian Rothwell at SCR and he is more than happy to run a 'double header' on the programme, where SWARM folk can be in on it and we can mix the two.

Graham,
I am really looking forward to hearing the finished product. I know how enthusiastic you are about this and I am sure the song will be wonderful.
As discussed today if I can help please let me know.

We have had the pleasure to listen to Graham's finished son "The Ballad of Billy Unsworth".
I can say that we were all blown away with it. We hope to post a snippet of the song once Graham gives us the OK.
Well done to Graham and all the other musicians involved.
Watch this space.

graham, first class mate, i was not aware you were acoustic guitar and vocals, i thought you was getting some pals in to do it, ;D very little fine tuning needed, a fitting tribute to CPL BILLY UNSWORTH. just got to learn it now. sounded like a dire straits number ,brilliant

Tony, Thank you very much mate, it's appreciated. I am on Salford City Radio with the song and band members on Thursday 10th March, between 5pm and 6pm (94.4fm). We are the guests of Ian Rothwell's show, who of course, is a good friend of the SWARM. I now need to find some sponsorship to allow me to print the actual CD frontage, print a booklet that I am writing (that will go with the CD) and to assist with the marketing and selling of it. I've had some very good feedback from those who currently have a copy of it...............now the hard work begins.
