My name is Stephane Lombaerts and I’m living in Belgium.
I adopted the grave of a soldier died in WW 2.
His name is Sergeant Ernest Halestrap, died on 29.8.1941 His Unit : RAF volunteer reserve. He is lying on Noordelijke begraafplaats Vlissingen ( The Netherlands)
I’m looking for information about him ( information, documents …)

His name is inscribed on the family grave at St. Laurence church, Upminster. linkBen

His wife Joan Evelyn Halestrap nee Trotman went on to marry a Brian William Silvester Patrick Moss in 1948 Croydon.

Joan Evelyn Moss formerly Halestrap nee Trotman died 26th October 2005, Launceston, Devon. Her second husband died 2001, Launceston, Devon.

Your welcome, just sorry i can't find anything more on the man & his service for you. Did spot his family on the 1911 census. 1911 at 23 St Lawrence Rd, Upminster, Essex Frederick Halestrap 40 Head of the household - House painter Amelia Mary Halestrap 41 Wife Frederick Halestrap 7 Son Hilda Halestrap 5 Daughter I did find his parents gave with his name inscribed on His fathers probate record.
