I found this photo on Flicker and thought i would share it and hopefully we will find out more of the young man?

Thomas and Ethel Hewson. Pendleton, salford.
My step-grandparents. Tom as a boy soldier, born Jan 1900. Ethel born May 1901. I wonder if Tom knew my great great Uncle? I wish I'd known they were in the same regiment when he was here to ask. They were both lovely and I miss them. He was a Fire Warden in Salford in WW2.

Cannot find a Medal Index Card. Nothing on the Absent Voters List. Wondering if the Army found out his real age before he got to serve abroad??
