After cross checking all the deaths that occurred prior to 11 o'clock, 11th November 1918, I believe that the last Salford man to be killed in action was Private Walter Harrison of the 2nd/5th battalion of the Lancashire Fusiliers. There are deaths of men on the 11th November 1918 and dates thereafter but all of these, as far as I can see, are for men who died of wounds/sickness. Do you know different?
Below are a few details that I have managed to gather with regards to Walter. Can anyone add anymore?
