The first reel of a film produced to depict the activities of the Air Raid Precaution department in Salford at the outbreak of World War Two. A fire tender leaving a sports ground at Moor Lane, Kersal Moor, Salford. In 1939 this ground was home to Manchester Football Club (actually a rugby club).
