This memorial does not have the names of the Bell Ringers lost due to the war but the newspaper article tells us they were: William Grunwell Thomas Yates Charles North Ridyard THIS TABLET WAS ERECTED AS A MEMORIAL TO OUR BROTHERS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914 - 1918 ALSO THE FIRST PEAL TO BE RUNG BY THE LOCAL BAND SINCE 1914. Many thanks to the Tower Captain for allowing access to this memorial.
