I am doing research about operation Blackcock in january 1945 and some of the soldiers that got killed then for each of them I write a page of honor. One of them was Herbert Gordon Wiles. First he was buried in a village called Buchten and later reburied on the War Cemetery in Nederweert. There was a news article posted (by shred), is it known which newspaper and date? Was he also listed on a memorial? If yes, were could I find a photo of it? Regards, Henk HERBERT GORDON WILES Rank:Private Service No:14687297 Date of Death:18/01/1945 Age:20 Regiment/Service:Durham Light Infantry 9th Bn. Grave Reference: III. A. 10.
