Hello, I'm a volunteer at an aviation museum in Suffolk. I have been researching the RAF period at RAF Bentwaters where six squadrons of Mustang fighters operated from Dec 1944 to the end of the war. Flying Officer Quinn of 165 Squadron was tragically lost in a Spitfire (the squadron was in transition to the Mustang) when he collided with another Spitfire flown by Flying Officer Andrew Scott who also perished. They are both buried in Belgium. I would be most grateful to know more information of F/O Quinn and of his family and any who I might contact. The museum plans to create a roll of honour for all those lost from the base and a memorial to honour their sacrifice and service. Please check out our website www.bcwm.org.uk for info on the museum.

hello all. Great info here regarding all of the above. Question, do all the men listed have individual headstones or are they listed on the large group memorial at St Catherines? many thanks
