Might also be worth check where his wife Maud May Waddicor nee Smith is buried? She might be in a family grave with him? Another thing you could do Mack, is ask Agecroft if they have records of him but give the reason why you are asking. We all know they will charge you other wise. Tell them you don't need the detail, just if they have him for the purpose of getting the C.W.G.C to add him to there list & acknowledge him as a war death. Also follow up what happened to his children. i.e. who where & when married or died. Worth checking to see if there is anything in the newspapers for his mothers death? Ben

Sorry to say Mack, i just had a reply from the person with the family tree tie but not good news.
"Hi, sorry I have not been able to find out where they are buried, have found will and probates and war memorial of William Nelson Waddicor but no place of burials. If I do, I will contact you."
I will keep trying to find any other family tree members& fingers crossed i get lucky?

Mack, wounder if this might have been the family grave?
Harold Norman Waddicor 1898-1938 interred in Wesleyan Cemetery Cheetham Hill Manchester. Alfred (Nelson) Waddicor 1891-1946 interred in Cheetham Hill Manchester. This cemetery was opened in 1834 and closed in 1966. 20,000 bodies were reinterred in a mass grave in St Peter's Road,Bury and a few in Southern Cemetery.
So possiblity that the rest of the family may be buried with them?

In a way i hope they were not re-entered in ST. Peter cemetery, Bury, as i know some one who carried out the removal of the remains from the Wesleyan cemetery in Cheetham hill and they said that most of the remains were just thrown in bags and shoved in the back of a van. No one new who body/remains where who & really didn't care, it was just a job to them

Mack,
William N Waddicor has been accepted for submission by the IFCP. Unfortunately due to MOD cuts there is a large backlog of cases to be processed.
