*posted on behalf of Graham Walker* This pic was kindly sent by a lady who currently lives in Surrey, and moved from Salford in the 1960's, as a result of a question posted on 'Ancestry' open forum. It shows John KINDER (3rd from right front row), Lancashire Fusiliers, who later transferred to the RAMC. Not sure if anyone can assist, but does anyone have any info on the man or any idea where these huts were.....not much to go on I'm afraid, although he did work at a Girls Institute on Regent Square after the war. All the details match for this man. Name: John W Kinder Regiment or Corps: Lancashire Fusiliers, Royal Army Medical Corps Regimental Number: 4264, 473536 Says that he was a sergeant on his medal card. The 1918 AVL shows that he is registered at 10 Talbot St, Salford. The AVL states that he is stationed at the 21st General Hospital which I believe was at Alexandria, Egypt. Attachments:
