Harold William (Willie) Taylor, born Leeds, was returning from America with his new bride (Lucy - nee Haddock) to visit his parents in Salford when the Lusitania was hit by a torpedo fired by the German submarine U20 on the 7th of May 1915. His story is told in the attached article: Attachments:

The article attached in my last post states that his parents lived in Mount Pleasant, Salford. This is the census record for Harold in 1911.

Harold W. Taylor travelled from the United States on RMS (Registered Merchant Ship) Lusitania with his new wife Lucy (née Haddock), a United States citizen since 1913, for a honeymoon in England. They both survived its sinking in 1915.
