Cemetery TINCOURT NEW BRITISH CEMETERY Residence: Manchester Death Location: France & Flanders Enlistment Location: Bury, Lancs Type of Casualty: Died of wounds Information provided by prospectroad: Sergeant Howard Charles Fearneley, 16th Lancashire Fusiliers, died form wounds on October 3, in the 58th Casualty Clearing Station. He was the son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Frank Fearneley, of 10, New Herbert-street, the Height. He was 27 years of age, and was educated at Stowell Memorial School, Salford, and Lower Moseley-street, Manchester. He joined the Forces three years ago and had been in France 12 months. Before joining the Colours he was a clerk on the Manchester Exchange for Messrs. Coppock, Stanley, and Ellis, Manchester. 1911 census - Howard is a clerk living at 1 Weaste Lane, Pendleton with his mother Elizabeth and sister Dorothy. He was born in Cadishead.

A. 1. Cemetery ST. AUBERT BRITISH CEMETERY Additional Information: Son of James and Ann Elizabeth Hudson, of Martindale, Swinton, Manchester. Residence: Pevinton, Lancs Death Location: France & Flanders Enlistment Location: London Type of Casualty: Killed in action Richard is remembered in the Keswick school book of remembrance. He is shown on the 1911 census as being a border at that school aged 13.
