Tony the Pte Timothy Dudley 6752 G.co East Lanc's is correct, he shows up on the 1918 absent voters register at the 10 Owen street but not Joseph Dudley.
Could this be Joseph Dudley Regiment or Corps: Royal Fusiliers 131752, S Wales Bors 82111 ?

Correct fellers, Joseph started in the Royal Fusiliers (which I think is the London Regiment) and his medals indicate this. He was then transferred to the South Wales Borderers. I have the complete Army Record for Timothy but not for Joseph, I think his records must have been destroyed in WWs bombings.

Hi Barry, Welcome to the forums. As Ben said Timothy is registered at Owen St in the 1918 absent voters list. I have attached a screen shot for your records. Regards, Garry Attachments:

Being a Newbie to the site I thought that the Honour Roll intro stated 'Tell us about your families role in the War' was self explanitory and that was exactly what I did. To paraphrase, 'It would have been nice' if mention was made that research would be carried out by members based on this information. That said, I am gratefull for the information supplied as some of it I have no knowledge of as 'complete Army records' don't set out all facets of his service, far from it. So I thank you for that info. Garry, many thanks for your info on 'Absent voters'. Being relatively new to genealogy I have never heard of this and will certainly be looking more into it.

DOH! Joseph wouldn't be on the 1918 absent voters register as he was only 18 and you had to be 21 back then. I forgot

No worries Tonyrod, as I said, I appreciate the stuff that you found. I am particularly interested in the "absent voters' register. Did they have that for every County ?
This may sound strange but I did not even know the name of my Great ganddad until a few weeks ago, let alone his war record. It now appears that he only died in 1953. I was then 7 years old and visited relatives in Owen street and no one even told me that my Great Grandad was alive and lived about 100 metres away, I never got to meet him. I have no idea what he looked like, in fact never even knew that he existed. I feel deprived and am interesting in finding out as much as I can about him.
So you blokes have actually filled in some holes in my education that can maybe help me to know about this man who fought in so many famous battles in the great war. Again I thank you.

What was most striking to me in the one that Garry posted was that of the small selection shown, looking at the addresses, almost every house had at least one man away at war. That is incredible.
