Good morning,
I'am new on this forum. I got here because I'am trying to find some info on bomb aimer S.A. Silver which cam down with his parachute in my town (Roosendaal/Netherlands). It has been a very long time ago that this item was discussed by Loes in this forum. Loes refers to a police report in which Silver is mentioned. He was the bombimer fo lancaster LM 539 of 49 Squadron. Hopefully Loes is still part of the forum and be able to read this. Every info in welcome. Looking forward to any response. Paul

Dear members,
My name is Hans Molier, 60 years and living in Roosendaal (the Netherlands). I hope you can help me with the following......
Every year on Christmans Evening we from the Roosendaal Community commemorate 4 persons who gave their lives for our freedom and who are buried in Roosendaal. We commemorate them by writing an article about those persons that will be translated into Dutch and English and will be read on Christmas Evening in two languages at the graves of the deceased. Including placing candles at the graves.
This year I want to write an article about Sergeant Lawrence Foulkes, Service Number: 3010396, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, 49 Sqdn, Date of Death 22 May 1944.
For my article I'm searching the following information : When and where was Lawrence born, who were his parents, did he have any sisters or brothers, which schools did he went to, did he have any hobby's, what was his occupation before he joined the RAF and all the other information that could be relevant for my article.
The last years I wrote several articels about British and Australian airman who are buried in Roosendaal. Untill now I've always got in contact with relatives who gave me the information I needed and often peronal photos.
Therefor I want to ask you all very kindly, can anyone help me with the infomation I need for my article of knows any relatives of Sergeant Lawrence Foulkes I can and may contact ?
I sincerely hope you can help me and I want to thank you all very much.
Kind regards,
Hans Molier Roosendaal (the Netherlands)
