B Grey, M of I. I could be totally wrong with this. I am assuming that M of I is Ministry of Information and that the Ministry would employ War Correspondents. If so I think this could be B Grey: Name: GRAY, BERNARD Initials: B Nationality: United Kingdom Rank: Reporter Regiment/Service: War Correspondent Date of Death: 13/05/1942 Additional information: Husband of D. Gray, of Hazel Grove and Bramhall, Cheshire. Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead Grave/Memorial Reference: Panel 100. Memorial: PLYMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL Please feel free to correct me. hes your man gaz. bernard gray earned his flying cert on a avian cirrus on 16-5-1930,he was a journalist, lived at 6 woodland drive, hazel grove, born 14-5-1906 They are not now, but in those days Hazel Grove & Bramhall were part of the same civil parish and urban district. It's sad that his name didn't find its way onto either community's civic war memorial. Old Salfordian
