I'm a salfordian born & bred lived just off Regent Road in the 50@s (I@m 59 now). I still live here in Salford & I'm willing to help anyone with memories & queries if I can remember.
All my family lived in salford from the early 1800's so my history goes back a long way.
Regards to all Travis20

Hi Travis, Welcome to SWARM. Thank you so much for joining us and for your offer of assistance - I'm sure you will have plenty of questions fired at you I started doing my family history last year so I have an awful lot more to do but my family have certainly been in Salford going back to the late 1700's...I'm hoping I can trace them back even further. One question for you: Do you know what happened to the Whit Lane memorial (that particular memorial is the one that started me off on all this SWARMing business)
