From Gods Own 1st Salford Pals Harold Gahan son of James and Sarah of Garnett St Killed in action 17/4/1918 aged 21 brother of L/Corporal James (KIA) and L/Corp John William 1/8th Lancashire Fusiliers.

Groves and Whitnall Found A Stanley named on the roll Private Albert Joseph Stanley was wounded in the head by shrapnel as he reached the first line of the German trenches. In September he was in the Auxiliary Hospital Frodsham . He lived with his wife and 2 children at 31 Hodge Lane and had worked for Groves & Whitnall brewers for 26 years. Not on the roll Private Richard Jennings aged 18 was wounded in the ankle and in July 1916 was in the Southern General Hospital Birmingham . He was born in Pendleton , lived with his sister at 36 Chaney Street, and attended St Thomas's Church and worked for Groves &Whitnall brewery. He was killed in action on 25/4/18 whilst serving with the 2/5th Lancashire Fusiliers and was buried in Houchin British Cemetery.

I was astounded to read this, he can't have disclosed this surely? BTW have his enlistment and demob dates mixed up? (not picking, I make too many typos etc.)
