Welcome to SWARM FOrums I know that name from somewhere ?? Could it be from a genealogy site that starts with "R" and ends with "chat"? I was born and brought up in Salford - went to North Grecian St School and Broughton High (when it was up Moor Lane) - but I live down south now. My great uncle Lance Corporal Noah Stringfellow 24470 served with 11th Battalion Manchester Regiment, was killed 16 August 1917 and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot memorial. I'm not sure which memorial he might have appeared on in Salford, but he is on the Roll of Honour in the Regimental Chapel in Manchester Cathedral.

We can arrange for a close up of Noah's name if required.
